New York has Little Italy now it seems Manchester has Little Venice. But I am not talking about gondolas, I’m talking about Waxis. First introduced last year this water taxi route was being used to connect Sale and Old Trafford with the city centre using the Bridgewater Canal. But now a new service has been launched between MediaCityUK and Spinningfields. This is seen as an alternative to getting to that important meeting by tram or car, letting you relax as you cruise along the Manchester Ship Canal taking in the various sites and landmarks this city has to offer.
This is just one of the new innovative ways that Manchester is developing to become a true Northern Powerhouse of commerce and business, using every aspect that the city has to offer for travel to work or leisure and making it stand out as an international cutting edge place to be.
You may be interested to know that here at Sovereign we also have a taxi, granted it doesn’t go on water but can be seen up and down the highways and byways of the North West and beyond, and if you do happen to see it out and about visiting our clients send us a tweet, as we are always pleased to hear from you and if you are looking for a business, or thinking about selling your own even better, we can definitely assist you in both.
Right now we have businesses for sale as varied as bakeries, florists, newsagents and restaurants in a variety of locations, but don’t take my word for it, have a look at our website, as new opportunities are always on the horizon, because just like the Waxis on Manchester’s waterways Sovereign is dedicated to providing an invaluable service.
